About Nick

Built for Main Street. Not Wall Street.

I am not the accountant who files your return. I am the one who tells you what to do before the year is over.

Most owners doing $500,000 to $7,000,000 are running a tax model.

They spend the year shrinking one number for the IRS.

They ignore the seven lines above it that actually move the business.

Your CPA owns the bottom line. I own everything above it.

The story

I flunked out of university.

I went back fifteen years later.

I graduated summa cum laude from Millikin University's Tabor School of Business, with degrees in Finance and Experimental Cognitive Psychology.

I served as president of Delta Mu Delta, the business honor society.

I delivered my final presentation standing on a ruptured Achilles, days before surgery.

The finance degree taught me what the numbers say.

The psychology degree taught me why owners do not act on them.

Both are the job.

Why Main Street

I trained at Innovate Springfield under venture capitalists.

I learned how they read a business, price risk, and decide what a company is worth.

Then I chose Main Street on purpose.

The owner doing two million in revenue has the same questions the venture-backed company has. Can I afford to hire. What is my real breakeven. Am I paying myself enough.

Nobody was answering them. So I built the system that does.

What I actually do

I install the 60-Day Cash & Profit Reset.

Eight lines on your P&L. Three Productivity Ratios. One Cash Flow Roadmap.

You get a real breakeven, a market-rate wage for yourself, and a number to aim at every month.

Not a report. A model you run the business on.

Who this is for

Owners who make stuff, do stuff, or sell stuff.

$500,000 to $7,000,000 in revenue.

Illinois first, nationwide second.

All virtual. Your P&L does not care where I sit.

Who this is not for

Owners looking for bookkeeping, tax prep, or a second opinion on a return.

I do not do compliance. I do decisions.

What I believe

  • Gifts improve others.
  • Persist until finished.
  • Show up anyway.
  • Start before expected.
  • Do what others won't.
  • Engineer the outcome.
  • Volume negates luck.
